The Ph.D. Qualifier examination is taken at the end of the first year of Ph.D. study.It is given on demand, typically on the Friday immediately before the start of Spring semester. The Computer Science Department will be holding the Ph.D. Qualifier this Fall on August 20, 2010 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. in room 327 Computer Science Building.  Please register with Dawn in room 325 Computer Science Building or by e-mail dawnd@mst.edu before June 30, 2010.

The Ph.D. Qualifier consists of 3 parts:

Algorithms (CS 355 Content), Sample Section , Sample Section , Study Guide
Architecture (CS 301 Content), Sample Section , Study Guide
Operating Systems (CS 384 Content), Sample Section , Study Guide

(Advanced Automata is not currently offered as a qualifier option)
